My Reasons Why Article Submission Is Not the Best Option For SEO

Article submission is a popular form of website promotion that in my view hold very little benefit to none,The idea behind article submission is to promote an article that will link back to your own website.
Below i havew outlined a few ideas why i feel that article submission could be a waste of time and resources to your online project.

Firstly Google/MSN/Yahoo don't hold article submission as a quality method of SEO due to lack of trust, so it has little or no benefit to your website and your budget could be better spent else where.

Secondly by submitting an article to an Article Submission website it might attract links in but the traffic will not be going to your website.

Thirdly submitting to an article website and using social media to promote the article will only benefit the article website not yours

Forthly surely if the article is that good wouldn't it be better to have it on your own site and promote it.

 

I am happy to stand corrected but after 10 years in online SEO/SEM and managing projects with high visitor numbers i guess i have picked up a few tips along the way.

I find article submission a good SEO tool rather than just having 1 article on a site its all over the web to be crawled and generates alot of traffic.

Singh alot of article submission sites are not classed as quality sites by the main 3 search engines so the benefits are very low if anything at all, Google determines the quality first, i am not saying it has no benefit but you would have to try hard to convince me its a good method of SEO and gives you a good ROI.
